Call Laura Taylor if you like any of these cuties.  There are 2 puppies left and they have been spayed.  Her 2  year old plays with them daily and wags them everywhere! They have already become good little watch dogs too. They will be small dogs,  both parents are around 20-25 lbs.  Laura would like to collect an adoption fee of $35 to donate to the Humane Society of the Delta for each pup.  Call her at 817-0502 or 995-1029.
Alex is a terrier mix who came into the rescue as a starving 5 week old puppy. He was adopted to a loving home, but for unseen reasons was returned and placed in foster care. Alex is almost 1 year old, has been neutered and is up-to-date on vet care. He is leash/collar trained, and can run for short periods of time to tend to his business.  He will play fetch, loves a bath, and does not jump on you when you enter his fenced yard usless invited to do so. Alex has a great personality and is very good with children.  He has been allowed in the house and has done very well.  He loves to play with the inside dog's toys and when he tires himself out he lays by his foster mom's side. He has also been allowed outside the fenced yard to run and explore, and has not failed to return. He is usually within ear shot and comes running when his name is called.  Until his new family comes along, foster mom will continue to give him the love and attention he so very well deserves. She is so dedicated to this boy, she could foster him forever, he is one of the loves of her life. It will be hard to let him go, so you have to be a special family, are you it? Set up a meet date with Alex and you will see what mom means.   Click here for more photos of Alex.

Thanks to being fed by the ladies at AHEC, Missy in in overall good condition.  She appeared to have been mistreated and dumped off.  She has a sweet disposition.   Missy
is being fostered by Kirk & Anna Faulkner. There are two young boys (Alex and Kaleb) in the home. Missy has been in a fenced yard, with a big shady porch which has access to a air conditioned utility room thru the doggy door.  Missy has been is HSD care since July. She is approx. 6-7 months old.  In that time she has seen two foster homes. She was taken to her second foster home in September. While at the second foster home, she was spayed,  had the luxury of going to work with the lady, learned to walk on a leash and the sit/down commands.  She has really began to trust her new "mom".  She is very versitile, happy under the carport, untethered, staying close to her home and in the fenced in yard, only if she is not allowed access to the doggy door.  When she finds the doggy door she finds her mom and plays with toys at her side. At night she sleeps beside her mom's bed, as the doggy door has to stay open for moms other dogs. Missy is up-to-date with her shots and has had the 6 month heartworm preventative shot. The foster mom and Missy are happy with the arrangments but foster mom knows she needs her own family to bond with.  Won't you consider this sweet girl, before "mom" becomes totally attached.  Click here for more photos of Missy.
